Number 14

We all remember Helaine Olen. Everybody in the world blogged about it. Lessons: don't show your blog to your employer and the New York Times is becoming progressively fit for wrapping fish (I credit my sister for that line).

It's hard to believe, but there were thirteen things in 2005 that were more banal than the Helaine Olen affair.
