Xmas songs

Every year I say that Christmas officially ends once I hear Stevie Nicks' version of "Silent Night". If you've never heard it, the rendition is a unique blend of tenderness and agony, like a cat in heat playing a lullaby on a xylophone. This year I heard it the Sunday after Thanksgiving while grocery shopping. Don't get me wrong, I love Ms. Nicks' work with Fleetwood Mac, and I kinda liked her early solo work, but she must have called someone's bluff when she recorded "Silent Night". The only thing that could top it would be Nico singing "Stille Nacht".
