Free Comic Book Day

Saturday, May 6 is Free Comic Book Day. I always read some of the more dorky comics when I was growing up, Archie, Peanuts, etc. I never got into the fantasy crap. It all seemed a little too creepy and unnecessary, considering I had some fairly bizarre people to observe in real life.

What if everyone in the United States got their free comic book on Saturday? Would the comic book industry go bust? I'm guessing that Stan Lee sweats this one out every year. With a big gulp and some store-bought taquitos by his side, of course.*
