I've got Eno on the Brian

I always knew Brian Eno as the guy that produced the uber-hit U2 albums and brought Talking Heads to a new level by producing and acting as a de facto member of the band on their second, third, and fourth albums (all great, by the way, but you probably knew that). I guess I also knew that he recorded a lot of avant garde instrumental stuff that would likely put me to sleep after a while. Admittedly I haven't given Mr. Eno's instrumental stuff a chance.

I think that I might have to, though, after receiving Here Come the Warm Jets and Taking Tiger Mountain for Christmas. These albums are unbelievable, and they sound like they could have been recorded yesterday, a lot like the early Wire albums. I've been listening to the two Eno albums constantly, and I'm afraid I'll get sick of 'em soon.
