I seem to remember, though, a speech to students made by the real President back at Yale in 2001.
The Yale Daily News called it "humility". I'll bet all those smart kids who weren't blue-blooded enough to get into Yale or any other elite East Coast center of study saw things a bit differently. Maybe they even thought it was a bit of an insult.
Christ, the entire Election of 2004 was an insult to voters...
